The third important city of the Kathmandu valley situated to Kathmandu’s east. Abounding in masterpieces of ancient arts and sculpture and abode of long-standing traditions and culture, living examples of traditional methods of cultivation and indigenous industries, the city is still capable of representing its glorious pictures of the past. The famous Darbar Square along with the palace with 55 windows in a row, Nyatapola or the Five Storied Temple, Taleju Bhavani and Datatraya temples as well as many other pieces of arts and sculptures have enriched this city. Tourists from all over the world are charmed by this city.
