ABOMINABLE SNOWMAN

Its very existence is the subject of many a tale, yet, the mysterious abominable snowman, popularly known as Yeti, is speculated as large, flat-footed animal or likened to a primitive man with his body fully covered with long white hair. Inhabitants of northern Nepal as well as some explorers have claimed to see the footprints of Yeti in the Himalayas (Snow clad mountains of Nepal). Some explorers have reported that the footprints they have seen gave some idea about the type of animal the Yeti might look like : a two-footed man-like animal, comparatively shorter than a normal man but stouter and bulkier. Many mythologies are woven around the fearfulness of Yeti in northern parts of Nepal, especially among Sherpas and other local communities.
