Ilam, July 19: Minister for Information and Communications, Dr Minendra Rijal, has urged the party cadres to provide feedback on the preliminary draft of the constitution. "Such an opportunity will not come time and again. So provide your feedback on it after reading it," he said.
Minister Rijal, who arrived here on his way to Taplejung to attend a meeting of his party NC cadres, expressed the belief that the new constitution would be a republic constitution and it would guarantee the rights of all. Anyone can give feedback over the draft and which is why teams of lawmakers have reached every village to collect people's feedback on it, he added.
Similarly, Chairman of the Disabled Solidarity Society, Prakash Thapa, requested the Communications Minister to ensure the rights of the people with disabilities in the new constitution.
On the occasion, lawmakers-- Keshav Thapa, Sujata Pariyar, office-bearers of the Nepali Congress District Working Committee and party cadres were present. RSS
