Doha (Qatar), June 29: Gyan Prasad Shrestha of Taple-2 in Gorkha district has been left stranded in Qatar for the past 16 months.
Shrestha, who arrived here in 2010 in course of employment, is in a problem after he was unable to return home for not getting exit permit. He has not been able to get permit as New Version Trading & Contracting Company, where he was working, was closed after the death of his sponsor.
Stating that he visited the Nepali Embassy time and again demanding to make arrangement of his return to home, but the Embassy turned a deaf ear to his plea, Shrestha expressed sorrow over his inability to return home when his house was completely damaged in the recent quake. RSS
