Karnali, the biggest river of western Nepal is the combined form of Mugu-Karnali and Humla-Karnali, the former is originated from Laddakh Himal and the latter from Tibetan region. The river is famous for its strong currents, fast speed and depth at various places.

KAPILVASTU
This is the adjacent district of Rupandehi where Lumbini gardens,the birth place of Lord Buddha is located. Naturally Kapilvastu is also associated with the life of Lord Buddha very much. In fact, Kapilvastu was the empire of King Suddhodana, father of Siddhartha Gautam who later became Lord Buddha. KANCHANJUNGA, MT.
The highest peak of the great himalayan range known as Kanchanjunga Himal of Nepal, Mt. Kanchangunga is the 3rd highest peak of the world. Scaled for the first time in 1955 by a team of British alpinists, this beautiful peak is at an altitude of 28,168 ft.or 8,596 meters from sea level.
KANCHANJUNGA HIMAL
The easternmost Himalayan range of Nepal forming the Nepal-Sikkim border, Kanchanjunga Himal is famous for its glaciers, the valleys and number of beautiful peaks above 23,000 ft, the highest of them being Mt. Kanchanjunga the 3rd highest peak of the world.
KALPA
Kalpa is just a day and night of Bramha who is the creator of the universe and one of the Trinity of topmost Hindu gods, namely, Bramha, Vishnu and Maheswar. Actually Bramha’s one day is equivalent to thousands of yugas or aeons and millions of years for human and all beings.
KALKI
Kalki is another name of Lord Vishnu or the presumed form of would-be Vishnu. Hindu religious text believe that Lord Vishnu will take incarnation in the form of Kalki in future by the end of Kaliyug or the iron age. Out of four Yuga’s, namely Satya, Treta, Dwaper and Kali, Kali is believed to be the Yuga of sinners. When all the virtues, righteousness and good deeds gradually go on diminishing, the world will be dominated by sinners. KALI YUGA
Kaliyuga is the one of the four eons or ages and the fourth Yuga in order. It is also known as Iron age. A cycle of four Yuga’s make one Mahayuga.

This is a remote district of Karnali zone. This district is still not connected with the rest of the parts of the country by road and air links. Manma is the headquarters and the population is 105580
KALI GANDAKI RIVER
Kali Gandaki is the most important river in the Gandaki River system of Central Nepal, having its source in the Mustang Bhot Himal. This river passes at various places through deepest gorges of the world. Kali Gandaki actually flows in between the famous peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri, both situated above 26,000 ft. from sea level. Kali Gandaki river meets another famousfamous river Trisuli Ganga at a point in the northern parts of Narayangarh of Chitwan.
