Bhaktapur, July 28: Quake survivors taking shelter in camps are constantly living in panic due to snakes in Bhaktapur district.
They said that snake menace has increased at their camps due to excessive heat as well as beginning of the monsoon season.
Two persons at the camp located at Maheshwori ground in Bhaktapur, were bitten by snake in a week. The snake bit Lamximaya Bohaju and Suresh Prasad Gaiju while they had gone to attend nature's call as there is lack of toilet in the camp.
Both of them are undergoing treatment at Teku Hospital, it is learnt. The quake survivors said that they have been facing problems in movement and to sleep in the tent due to fear of snakes.
Mainly, the risk of snake is on rise at camps at Bhelukhel, Saraswoti school area, Khwapa College area, among others. RSS
