Ninth Edu-fair begins in capital



Kathmandu, July 2: The Ninth Education Fair has begun at Bhrikutimandap in the capital today. The fair has been organized to inform the higher level students to choose the best colleges inside the country and abroad. 

The Educational Consultancy Association of Nepal (ECAN) organized the fair that would continue for four days. There are 200 stalls in the fair. The stalls are related to higher education courses under the science, agriculture, forestry and engineering, among other faculties. 

The organizers have managed on the spot admission system for the students in the fair. Similarly, visitors could avail information about the universities and colleges of India, China, USA, Japan, Canada, and Australia among other countries as well. 

The organizers have expected that some 200,000 people will visit the fair. 

While inaugurating the fair, Education Minister Chitra Lekha Yadav said that the government was working for attracting the students to higher education inside the country itself. 

The ECAN chair Rajendra Baral said that such fairs are helping the students for selecting best colleges inside the country and aboard. RSS
