Kathmandu, July 22: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development, Prakashman Singh, has distributed wheelchairs to differently-able children of the quake-hit areas.
At a programme organised by Nepal chapter of Divine Youth Club, America, DPM Singh provided wheelchairs, crutches, among others to the disabled children.
On the occasion, he thanked the Divine Club for its support to the differently-able people.
The DPM Singh said, "We have known people's view through preliminary draft of the new constitution. We will incorporate demands of the disabled people in the new statute."
Stating that the dream of people since 2007 BS is going to be fulfilled with the promulgation of the new constitution, he expressed the view that the country would now make a great stride.
Member of Divine Club, America, Shraddha Pandey, said that the goods were provided to those children, whose wheelchairs and crutches, among others were buried by houses in the April 25 earthquake.
